Personally, I have not seen the appeal for Facebook. Yes, I too have one, but I don’t use it either. And to interface and discuss BDSM topics, I would have to have a Facebook designed around my pseudonym also.
Not that I am ashamed that I am into BDSM, it is just easier to maintain that part of my life to the privacy that it deserves.
Is there a lot of discussion that would go on from a facebook account? I thought it was mostly friend type comments and not a real discussion. A forum would be a nice place.
Would you update a facebook more than you update here? 😛

Remember that this site was primarily to let people who were interested have a wider forum to talk about Avatar, and for me to announce when Avatar was updated.
Facebook would be for my more commercial work.

I’m on facebook, but I won’t link to you. I’d like to, but it’s too public. I use facebook as a public forum. I keep all my activities hidden from the vanilla world I live in.

I love living in a free society where acts between consenting adults, all types of sexual fiction and even fantasy drawings are protected… oh wait. I forgot. We don’t have a society like that.
